AOL/Time Warner Divorcing, Flair’s Return, Tiffany/PETA, More

According to Variety, Time Warner is officially splitting from AOL after spending nearly a decade trying to build a new-age media empire. The merger, which happened back in 2000, led to Time Warner dropping WCW programming, which was then sold to Vince McMahon.

Ric Flair will appear for the NWE promotion during their tour of South Africa. Flair will appear on August 30th in Johannesburg, September 1st in Cape Town and September 3rd in Durban.

The end of July and beginning of August will be full of action in Philadelphia. July 26th will see the WWE run Night of Champions PPV at the Wachovia Center. And then, on August 8th, UFC 101 will also take place at Wachovia Center.
