SmackDown Diva Melina talked to the Philippine Daily Inquirer to promote WWE’s upcoming tour of Asia, which will hit Manila on Friday, July 10th at the Araneta Coliseum. In the interview, the former WWE Women’s Champion insists the Divas are more than just eye candy. “We’re not just girls who go out there [in skimpy clothes],” she said. “I have a lot of respect for what we do.”

As announced on Raw and here on the site last night, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will battle one half of the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, Edge, this week on WWE Superstars on WGN America. That has the potential to be awesome.

When John Cena and Triple H defeated The Miz and MVP, respectively, on Raw, they earned the right to face one another on next week’s show with the WWE Championship No. 1 contendership on the line. The winner of the tournament will then face Randy Orton at Night of Champions as we noted last night.
