soren sent this one along: I was reading the recap of Wrestlemania and it was mentioned that The Rock and John Cena were talking in the ring after the match, but that it couldn’t e heard what they were saying. I watched the show with some friends — one of whom is partially deaf and can read lips. She said that John Cena was telling The Rock how much he respected him and looked up to him when he was up-and-coming. The Rock thanked Cena and replied at one point saying that he “came back for this moment”.

fly0802 sent this one in: I was at WM and at the end of the Ryback/Henry match, Ryback appeared to have been hurt when Henry fell on him right before he pointed him for the win. When Henry walked away, the ref checked on Ryback and made the X sign to the trainers who immediately jumped in the ring. As you saw, Ryback still got up and hit his finisher on Henry but you could see he was seriously favoring his right arm/shoulder as he did the Feed Me More chant. Toward the end he was only swinging one arm. I also was able to see Fandango after he went under the stage and he was still holding his mid section. He wasn’t in view of the audience so I don’t think he was trying to sell an injury, it looked like he was legitimately hurt.

K. Greene sent this one along:

-It was a tough crowd all night. Very few were able to garner legit heat and very few garnered legit cheers. The crowd was most active for Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H, and C.M. Punk vs. Undertaker.

-John Cena got a ton of boos, but after winning it was more less a mixed reaction. Fans in my section were peeved about the 30 Rock Bottoms and AA’s that occurred during the match. It makes the finish look weak when you do it that often. Rocky got a solid response from the crowd.

-I was surprised at the lack of flair in the entrances. Fandango had the most creative one to me, although Triple H and Undertaker had great ones also.

-Honestly, that mixed tag match would have sucked, but it would have got the kids in the crowd going. It’s a crime that all four were not on the pay-per-view, but Fandango and Big E Langston were. Why wasn’t Kofi Kingston on the card? Antonio Cesaro? Divas Title?

-While Fandango might have a bright future in WWE, he generated no real response from the crowd. Some people in the audience asked who exactly is he again? Yikes.

-The biggest pops of the night went to two part timers and a retired wrestler? Yikes.

– Overall, I’m glad I only paid 40 dollars to see this. The undercard of the show wasn’t that great, although the World Heavyweight Championship match was a great technical showing. I’d give the show a C-.

Biggest Pops:
The Rock
Undertaker
Shawn Micheals

Most Heat:
The Shield
