Who CM Punk Thinks WWE Should Be Pushing + ‘Taker Streak

Thanks to Ranjit Chahal for his help with the following newsbits:

— CM Punk has always been an outspoken individual. It was the reason why he had so much backstage heat on him from management he first started with WWE. During a recent interview, the former heavyweight champion stated that feels that WWE is missing the boat on performers like Antonio Cesaro and Wade Barrett. Punk said:

“This is not my company; if it was it would be run very differently and I’m not saying that the way Vince McMahon does things is 100% right or 100% wrong all the time and I’m not saying that I know the answer to everything. Vince does what he thinks is best for business and he’s right a lot of the time and there’s just sometimes I think he’s missing the boat on stuff, Cesaro being one of them. [Wade] Barrett’s another good one. I think we start and stop guys too much. They did it with me forever; they did it with Sheamus forever. You’re the flavor of the month. You’re doing this, you’re doing that, and then you just kind of get shuffled to the back. I don’t think anybody can truly organically grow and become these superstars that they say they’re looking for when you start and stop guys all the time. But it’s just a difference of opinion on how the business is.”

— For those who always ask me about pay-per-view streams, I’ll throw this out there with the WWE WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view tonight. We are not affiliated with this website at all but I use wsnlive.com. Basically you sign up for an account, make it ‘elite’ (it’s like $10 or something for the entire month – all PPVs) and you get a HQ Quality stream. It works every time for us and never skips. Again, we’re not affiliated with the site but I always get asked so here you go.

— Here’s some of the things, former WWE Diva Serena Deeb, had to say in a recent interview:

On the concussion that set her back over 18 months:
Basically what happened was there was a Shimmer taping in Chicago, Illinois … it was my final match in a long weekend of rough matches … I was really tired, and I end up taking a really bad blow to the head. For quite a while I was in denial about it. After a few weeks I started experiencing a lot of complications … [I was out] six months to a year, minimum. I just didn’t know what the future was going to hold at that point – I just had no idea.

On her relationship with CM Punk:
Our relationship went back a long time ago. He was actually the one that initially got me hooked up with Shimmer … when we were in OVW at the same time. The friendship definitely goes back – it would be like seven or eights years ago now. I honestly have the most respect for him professionally. There’s not many people who can touch Punk. He knows it. He carries himself as such. And I’m happy for his match [at WrestleMania]

Can CM Punk end the Undertaker’s streak?
Undertaker is pretty symbolic of WrestleMania, so that’s pretty cool. But … I don’t think the streak will ever end.
