— Barrett-Jackson announced today that Hulk Hogan helped to raise nearly $1 million for charity. The press release notes that Hogan was on stage at The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions and helped auction off a 1969 Camaro Z/28, which went for $150,000. The auction took place last month in Palm Beach, Florida.

“It was exciting to have Hulk Hogan, a legend, join us on stage to help auction that ’69 Camaro Z/28,” said Barrett-Jackson CEO Craig Jackson. “He used his contagious charisma to help energize the crowd in a way that only he can. With Hogan’s help we raised $150,000 to benefit Connor’s Cure, A HERO Foundation and The Grace Project.”

Among the other charities that benefited were the Achilles Freedom Team ($400,000), the Karmanos Cancer Institute ($200,000), the Foundation for Exceptional Warriors ($100,000) and The Darrell Gwynn Foundation ($75,000).
