Report – Numerous Tryouts Prior To RAW + Mysterio vs. Styles Set

— Squaredcirclesirens.com reports that Australian Toni Storm, UK wrestler Nina Samuels and UK model Jessica Rose all received tryouts before this week’s WWE RAW in Manchester, England.

— 5 Star Wrestling has announced that Rey Mysterio will be a character in their PS4 game 5 Star Wrestling: ReGenesis. The company will hold several events in the UK in mid-January to promote the title, including Rey Mysterio vs AJ Styles in Sheffield. The game is billed as “The Pro Evolution Soccer of Professional Wrestling Games”. It will debut in early 2016. It focuses on strategic gameplay.

The ReGenesis tour starts on January 13 in the Newcastle Metro Arena, then the Sheffield Arena on January 14 and the Liverpool Echo Arena on January 15.

These are by far the biggest wrestling shows that a UK promoter has ever hosted and we’ve signed an army of the best wrestlers from around the world to host 3 incredible nights of 5 Star Wrestling entertainment. Top tier wrestling personalities including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Taz and Jim Ross, have all recently pointed out that he should be applying his trade in the WWE. To have him go one-on-one with Rey Mysterio… there honestly isn’t a bigger match that a wrestling promoter other than Vince McMahon himself could make right now. It’s never been possible before and who knows if it will ever happen again and I’m so excited to be able to give wrestling fans an opportunity to see this match..”

Tickets for the events go on sale tomorrow on 5StarWrestling.co.uk. The official Facebook page will also make more announcements on the game and shows.
