WWE Applies For ‘Solid Gold’ Trademark, WWE Helps Out A Fan In Need, & More

— WWE recently applied to trademark “Solid Gold” as a new character name.

— Philadelphia’s NBC10 has a story about wrestling fan Shawn Brown who received three ringside tickets to a WWE show after John Cena was pulled from the card. Brown had previously bought tickets to a show in March because Daniel Bryan was advertised as a “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night,” only to see him get removed after Bryan asked for time off. Brown contacted WWE and said he bought the tickets specifically to see Bryan and received two free tickets as a goodwill gesture. Months later, he bought the tickets for the Cena-headlined show and that was changed too. Brown contacted the station, who got in touch with WWE. Brown got the ringside seats as a result.
