Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries

Aries controlled the match early, causing Neville to go outside to regroup a couple of times. Neville hit a nasty looking snap German suplex, landing Aries right on the back of his head. Another big German suplex, but Aries kicked out. Aries hit a “discus five-arm” out of nowhere, but Neville rolled outside, then kicked Aries in the head. He went to the top for the red arrow, but Aries went up and hit a top rope frankensteiner. Top rope 450 by Aries but Neville kicked out. Last-chancery submission by Aries, but Neville raked the injured eye socket of Aries, causing him to writhe in pain. Neville went to the top and hit the Red Arrow for the pin.

Winner: Neville

Viktor is eliminated by Strowman. Everyone tries to eliminate Strowman and they do… Braun Strowman is eliminated by about ten guys. Curt Hawkins is eliminated by someone. Bad camerawork and the commentators aren’t mentioning when people are eliminated. Hard to keep up. Big mess. Dolph Ziggler keeps being thrown out and hanging onto the ropes about 10 times. R-Truth is eliminated by Ziggler. Rhyno eliminated by Ziggler. Aiden English is eliminated by American Alpha. Primo is eliminated by American Alpha I think. The other Uso is eliminated by American Alpha. Jason Jordan is eliminated by Dain and Breezango. Gable is eliminated by Dain and Breezango. Breezango are both eliminated by Tian Bing. Last 3: Mojo Rawley, Jinder Mahal, Killian Dain. Killian Dain and Mojo face off in the middle of the ring. Mojo nails Dain with a football-like hit and knocks him down.

Jinder knocks Mojo through the middle ropes and goes to work on him outside. Rob Gronkowski is in the front row and Jinder gets in his face. Jinder takes Gronk’s drink, drinks it, and throws it in Gronk’s face as Gronk looks furious. Gronk then climbs over the barrier and takes off his shirt, then walks into the ring. Gronk nails Jinder Mahal with a big football hit. Mojo gets in the ring and celebrates with Gronk, then Gronk exits the ring. Killian Dain is eliminated by Mojo Rawley. Mojo Rawley and Jinder Mahal are the last 2. Jinder is on the apron… Mojo nails him with a forearm and knocks him out for the win.

Winner: Mojo Rawley

After the match, Rob Gronkowski gets back in the ring and celebrates with Mojo Rawley in a “bro-like” manner.

Kickoff Show: Intercontinental Championship
Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Baron Corbin

After some back and forth for about 10 minutes, Ambrose went for the Dirty Deeds, but Corbin blocked it. Corbin slammed his shoulder into both the turnbuckle and the steel steps after going after Ambrose but missing. Corbin went for Deep Six but Ambrose blocked it, then tried his “off the ropes” clothesline move but Ambrose gave him a big boot and hit a Deep Six, but Ambrose kicked out. Both guys look like they are profusely sweating. JBL says it’s “10 degrees hotter than hell.” Ambrose hit his clothesline off the ropes out of nowhere then went for the Dirty Deeds but Corbin blocked it and slammed Ambrose down. Corbin went for the End of Days but Ambrose reversed, kicked Corbin in the stomach and hit the Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

WrestleMania 33

Tinashe sang “America The Beautiful”

Cool intro video of people riding a Roller Coaster past various WWE Superstars. Show went to live crowd and lots of Pyro and A New Day, who came out with an ice cream cart. New Day said it is time for WrestleMania to start!

Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

Lots of showboating from both to start the match. Both seemed hesitant to ‘get into it’. Shane eventually got the upper hand. Match feels ‘slow’ and sort of like they are filling time. Styles hit a Styles Clash and scored a near fall. The ref got kicked in the head by AJ when Shane ducked, knocking him out. AJ went outside and grabbed a trashcan from under the ring. Shane got in control and hit a coast to coast with AJ in the corner holding a trashcan. Shane got a near fall. Shane missed an elbow thru the announce table. SJ went for the phenomenal forearm but Shane reversed it into a DDT. Shane went for a shooting star press but missed. AJ hit the phenomenal forearm and scored the pinfall in twenty minutes. Good opener, a little slow in parts but the crowd loved it.

Winner: AJ Styles

WWE United States Championship
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kevin Owens

These two traded fists to start the match before Y2J caught Owens early in a Walls of Jericho, which Owens escaped. Back and forth action with both guys hitting their spots. During the course of the match it’s gotten dark in Orlando. Owens put Jericho in a Walls of Jericho but Y2J escaped it and reversed the move. Owens got out and hit a Pop-Up powerbomb. Jericho hit a codebreaker but KO put his finger on the rope. The action spilled outside which ended with KO hitting a powerbomb on the apron, rolling Jericho in and scoring the pin (and U.S. Title) in seventeen minutes.

Winner and New United States Champion: Kevin Owens

WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Elimination Match
Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks

Bayley came out with an elaborate robe. Nia Jax came out next. Sasha rode on the back of a car to the ring. Charlotte came out with lots of fireworks shooting off over the stadium. Very cool entrance.

Very fast-paced action with Nia dominating all three to start this match. Bayley, Charlotte and Sasha teamed up to give Nia Jax a powerbomb and all three pinned her to eliminate Nia Jax in five minutes. Charlotte removed the padding from the middle turnbuckle and sent Sasha into it and scored the pinfall on Sasha eight minutes in. Charlotte went up top for a moonsault and missed, letting Bayley score a near fall. Charlotte recovered and locked in the figure four but Bayley fought out. Bayley hit the Macho Man elbow from the top rope and scored the pinfall on Charlotte in twelve minutes. Best match tonight so far!

Winner: Bayley

Hall of Fame Inductees

The Hall of Fame induction highlights were shown. Gregg Hamilton (no Finkel, keep with the theme of thinking to the future we’ve seen in the booking tonight) introduced each one. Kurt Angle got the loudest pop tonight (so far)!

WrestleMania 34’s logo is super cool, I love it. It’s in New Orleans next year in case you didn’t know yet.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
Gallows & Anderson (c) vs. Enzo & Cass vs. Sheamus & Cesaro vs. The Hardy Boyz

Enzo/Cass did their schtick which the crowd ate up. Sheamus/Cesaro came out next with a cool entrance. Lots of cool entrances tonight, mainly due to the set and camera work. The Club came out last. Ladders are surrounding the ring.

New Day came out and said another team would be added to this match — The Hardy Boyz’ music hit to a massive pop (even louder than Kurt’s). Hardys dominated the match to start as a “This is Awesome” chant started. Back and forth action, lots of Ladders as weapons and bumps. Big Cass got powerbombed into a ladder, Jeff hardy got a Brogue Kick over from the ring apron to everyone on the outside, Sheamus gave one member of the club a spin while Sheamus pounded the other for nearly a minute straight.

Matt Hardy hit a twist of fate on Anderson and Jeff did a giant swanton off the top ladder to Sheamus on a ladder outside, causing it to break. Matt hardy climbed the ladder and grabbed the belt in thirteen minutes to pick up the win and tag belts! Great match and great moment!

Winners and New Raw Tag Team Champions: The Hardy Boyz

John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse

Jerry Lawler is out for guest commentary for this match. The crowd mic seemed to be turned down on Miz’s entrance to make him seem less popular. Nikki and John entered separately. John ran to the ring, whew! They have totally muted the crowd because you can tell the live crowd loves Miz and Cena got his usual WrestleMania reaction. The crowd is chanting “Miz is awesome” but they are trying to make it hard to hear. Nikki and Cena hit a double “You Can’t See Me” and then each hit their finisher on Miz and Maryse and scored the double pinfall in eight minutes.

Winners: John Cena and Nikki Bella

John Cena pulled a ring out of his pocket, which means he wrestled with that in there the whole match and then proposed to Nikki. They walked up the ramp holding hands. Weakest match so far, but no fault of those involved, just a matter of time given for the match.

Non-Sanctioned Match
Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

HHH rode down on a motorcycle with Steph seated behind him. Cops on cycles rode down to the ring next to them. Rollins came out dressed in all gold and lit a torch then pointed at HHH and the rampway showed lit up with a fire graphic all the way to the ring. Symbolism! HHH repeatedly worked on the knee to start the match. They are pacing this match like it will go for a while. HHH kept working on Rollins knee. Rollins eventually hit a buckle powerbomb on HHH.

Rollins kept doing moves on HHH that also hurt his knee and he would clutch his knee after doing each move. HHH used a chair to work over Rollins knee. Rollins climbed the top rope once and Steph grabbed his leg making him trip. HHH locked in a submission on Rollin’s knee. Seth got out and HHH put the submission back on him outside the ring. Rollins accidentally pulled out a sledgehammer from under the ring which HHH grabbed. A table got set up at ringside but they didn’t use it and went back to the ring. Rollins kept avoiding the sledgehammer and eventually got control over it. Steph grabbed the sledgehammer before Seth could use it, letting HHH hit a pedigree for a very close near-fall. HHH went for a pedigree from teh top rope but Rollins reversed hit and hit a Phoenix Splash fora near fall. They replayed Rollins doing this move several times. They kept countering one another doing pedigrees before Rollins sent HHH into the ropes, knocking Stephanie off (she was perched) and sending her thru the table set up at ringside. HHH ate a pedigree from Rollins and Seth scored the 1-2-3 in 25 minutes. Longest match of the evening so far.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Musical Performance

Pitbull, Flo Rida, Lunchmoney Lewis and Stephen Marley performed a mini-concert, concluding with the WrestleMania theme song, “Green Light”.

“Triple A” here, taking over for the rest of the results…

WWE Championship
Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Randy Orton

Early in the match, there was a cool spot where Orton was knocked down and the ring was overlaid with a video of a bunch of maggots (via overhead video projector). Cool shot.

Bray went for Sister Abigail early, but Orton managed to break free. Bray controlled the match early on. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Randy Orton hit an RKO on Bray Wyatt as Bray ran at him outside the ring. Bray was rolled into the ring, but kicked out. A little later, Bray hit a Sister Abigail out of nowhere, but Orton kicked out. Bray did his upside-down crawl thing and the ring was overlaid with a bunch of bugs. But then again, out of nowhere, Orton hit an RKO and won in about 10 minutes.

The crowd seemed quiet and kinda stunned.

Winner and New WWE Champion: Randy Orton

WWE Universal Championship
Goldberg (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

Lesnar out first. Goldberg next. Paul Heyman grabbed the mic from Jojo to introduce Brock Lesnar himself. The crowd seemed anti-Goldberg, booing him after his introduction.

The bell rang and Lesnar immediately hit a German suplex on Goldberg. And two more. Suddenly, Goldberg hit two spears on Lesnar, but Lesnar rolled out of the ring. Goldberg followed him and speared him through the ringside barricade. Goldberg rolled Lesnar back in and the crowd chanted “Goldberg.” Goldberg went for a Jackhammer, but Lesnar reversed it and went for an F5, but Goldberg reversed and hit a spear! Goldberg went for another Jackhammer and hit it! 1-2-NO. Goldberg was shocked and the crowd chanted “YES!”

Goldberg sized him up for another spear as Heyman screamed at Lesnar. Goldberg went for a spear but Lesnar leapfrogged over him! German suplex. And another. Three German suplexes. Four. Five. Six. Seven. (Ten total German suplexes in the match.) The crowd counted along with each suplex.

Lesnar was fired up and then hit an F5. 1-2-3. Great match that lasted about 5 minutes.

Winner and New Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James vs. Natalya vs. Carmella vs. Natalya

The entrances were cut short for each woman other than Naomi, who had a full, long entrance. Becky Lynch hit a Becksploder suplex on Carmella and James Ellsworth tried to interfere, but Lynch hit him with a Becksploder also. The crowd did not seem into this match. Natalya locked a “double Sharpshooter” on Carmella and Naomi, but Mickie James broke it up. Naomi hit the “Rear View” on Alexa, then dived over the top rope onto everyone outside. Naomi rolled Alexa Bliss into the ring and locked in a submission move and Alexa tapped out. This match seemed like a rushed afterthought. (~6 minutes)

Winner and New SmackDown Women’s Champion: Naomi

Segment: The New Day

The New Day came out and announced that WrestleMania had broken the Citrus Bowl attendance record with 75,245 fans in attendance.

Jim Ross is out to announce the final match.

The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns

This match is “no holds barred.” Roman Reigns was out first to some moderate boos. The Undertaker emerged from halfway down the ramp already, making his entrance last “only” about 6 minutes. The bell finally rang and Undertaker quickly threw Reigns out of the ring and said, “My yard.” Reigns climbed back in, but Undertaker threw him out again and said, “Still my yard.” This match is going to have a lot of punches. About 5 minutes into the match… lots of punches. Just punch after punch.

Undertaker punched Roman Reigns again, then started to clear the announce table. Roman Reigns punched Undertaker and then tried to go for the Superman Punch, but Undertaker caught him by the throat and chokeslammed him onto the announce table, but it didn’t break. Undertaker then started to clear the Spanish announce table. He stood on top of the Spanish table and did a “throat slash” taunt, but Reigns hit a spear out of nowhere and they both crashed through the Spanish announce table. Reigns rolled back into the ring, and Undertaker quickly sat up like he often does.

Back in the ring, Roman Reigns punched Undertaker about 15 times in the corner, but Undertaker grabbed him and hit him with a weak/almost botched “Last Ride” powerbomb, but Reigns kicked out. Undertaker grabbed a steel chair from the outside and jabbed Reigns with it a few times. Undertaker signaled for a chokeslam, but Reigns rolled to the outside. He came back into the ring and hit a Superman Punch on Undertaker, but Undertaker kicked out. Reigns went for another Superman Punch, but Undertaker countered and chokeslammed Reigns onto a steel chair. Reigns kicked out. Undertaker then hit a Tombstone on Reigns but Reigns kicked out at 2.9999.

Undertaker went for another Tombstone, but Reigns countered… It seemed like he was trying to counter into his own Tombstone piledriver but the move was botched and he couldn’t pick Undertaker up. Instead, he hit another Superman Punch but Undertaker kicked out. Reigns then hit a spear. The crowd was dead. He went for a pin but Undertaker grabbed him and locked in his “Hell’s Gate” submission. Reigns eventually got his leg on the rope.

Reigns crawled over and grabbed the chair then started to pummel Undertaker in the back with it. Reigns stood in the corner as Undertaker slowly tried to get up. Another spear, but Undertaker kicked out again. Reigns “couldn’t believe it.” He went back to the corner again and hit another spear. Undertaker kicked out again and the crowd finally seemed into the match, chanting “Undertaker.” Another Superman punch. Undertaker sat up again, but he fell back down. He slowly tried to get up again as Reigns stood over him. Reigns then punched Undertaker again and hit a big spear off the ropes for the 1-2-3. (~23 minutes)

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Reigns walked down the aisle as Undertaker laid motionless in the ring. Reigns raised his arms and a ton of fireworks went off for some reason. Not a lot of boos really, but they could have been lowering the crowd volume because they seemed really quiet. Reigns walked backstage as Undertaker lay in the ring.

The Undertaker Says Goodbye

The crowd chanted “Thank you Taker” for a few seconds and he sat up. They then cut away to instant replays. When they came back, Undertaker was standing in the center of the ring wearing his coat and hat again under blacklight as his theme music played for a few minutes. Undertaker then took off his gloves, coat, and hat, and placed them in the center of the ring, symbolically indicating that his career may be over. He walked out of the ring and kissed his wife at ringside, then walked down the aisle as the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He raised his fist and the crowd popped. Suddenly, the lights went black and Undertaker’s bells tolled, and the show went off the air…
