WWE is currently rumored to be working on plans for major pushes for both Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman this year, according to the Wrestling Observer, with Strowman’s already underway.
Both are being groomed as potential top stars for their respective brands but at the moment, WWE is rumored to view Baron Corbin as the potential bigger star of the two. Supposedly, WWE sees Corbin more likely to be a consistent main event talent for SmackDown while the goal for Strowman’s major push is likely for Roman Reigns’ or Brock Lesnar’s benefit in the end. Roman Reigns is still penciled in as the top star for RAW and for the main event against Brock Lesnar at next year’s WrestleMania.
