GFW World Tag Team Championship Tournament – 1st Round Match

Laredo and Garza hit in-sync Moonsaults from the top rope onto LAX! Laredo hits a springboard crossbody on Ortiz. Garza takes out Ortiz with a missile dropkick from the top rope. Ortiz distracts the referee, while Homicide attacks Garza on the outside. After a big flurry of action, Santana and Garza take each other out with clotheslines in the middle of the ring! Laredo hits Santana with a tornado DDT and Garza follows up with a springboard Moonsault on Ortiz! Diamante connects with a Hurricanrana on Garza as LAX double teams Laredo to pick up the victory.

Winners: LAX


Backstage: Magnus and Bruce Prichard

Magnus approaches Bruce Prichard backstage. He accuses Bruce of costing him the GFW Global Championship against Alberto El Patron last week. Bruce tells him he’s out of contention – Magnus says he’s going to show Bruce what he can do!


Kongo Kong w/ Lauren Van Ness vs. Braxton Sutter w/Allie

Kong connects with a belly-to-belly suplex on Sutter. Kong charges at Sutter in the corner but Sutter avoids it! Sutter begins to build momentum but can’t get Kong off his feet! Kong hits Sutter with a huge powerslam to win.

Winner: Kongo Kong

After the match, KM & Sienna attack Braxton and Allie but Mahabali Shera makes the save! Sutter proposes a tag match pitting him and Shera versus Kong and KM next week!


Backstage Interview: Karen Jarrett

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Karen Jarrett concerning the ongoing feud between Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Angelina Love and Alisha. Karen announces a mixed tag team match between the two couples for next week!


Ethan Carter III vs. “Cowboy” James Storm


Magnus is on commentary as he scouts some of IMPACT! Wrestling’s top contenders. Looking to get payback on EC3 after his brutal actions last week, Storm brings a belt with him to the ring. The referee takes it away, allowing EC3 to go on the attack. Storm takes the fight to the outside. Storm grabs the belt from the announce table but Magnus stops him. Bruce Prichard comes down and ejects Magnus from ringside! Storm begins to build momentum with a running neckbreaker. Storm is perched on the top rope but EC3 crotches him. He follows up with the TK3 to regain the advantage. EC3 attempts to use the belt but the referee stops him. EC3 decides to attack him with the belt before security can break it up. It’s total chaos as Storm attacks EC3 and Magnus attacks Storm!

Bruce Prichard announces a three way match between EC3, James Storm and Magnus for next week! Bruce goes on to insult EC3, causing EC3 to throw him down to the mat!


We get an update on Rockstar Spud’s recovery – he’s coming for Swoggle next week!


Sienna (c) vs. ODB
GFW Women’s Championship

Sienna Irish whips ODB into the steel ring post on the outside. ODB flies off the second rope but Sienna avoids her. Sienna follows up with the Silencer to retain the title.

Winner: Sienna


Segment: Jeremy Borash, Josh Mathews, Joseph Park



Jeremy Borash makes his return to the IMPACT! Zone as Josh Mathews freaks out at the announce table. JB announces he’s been reinstated thanks to the help of an attorney – the returning Joseph Park!Park says JB will once again be the lead announcer in IMPACT! Wrestling and challenges Josh to a tag team match at Slammiversary – he and JB take on Josh and a partner of his choosing!


Low-Ki (c) vs. Trevor Lee w/ Gregory Shane Helms vs. Andrew Everett
Ultimate X Match for the X-Division Championship

Low-Ki and Everett exchange shots on the apron but Lee sends them flying into the steel guardrail! Everett connects with a springboard shooting star press onto Lee on the outside! Low-Ki scales the ropes once again but Everett knocks him off with a springboard dropkick. Lee drives Low-Ki into the steel guardrail as Everett makes his way across the cables. Lee throws a steel chair at him to stop the attempt. Low-Ki punches the steel chair into Lee’s face! Low-Ki goes for the foot stomp but Lee avoids it and connects with the double foot stomp of his own! Everett hits the Frankendriver on Lee. Low-Ki counters a German suplex into the double foot stomp on Lee. Low-Ki gets caught in the steel truss as Helms hits Everett with a swinging neckbreaker from the top rope! It’s a race to the finish as all three competitors make their way towards the title belt. Low Ki climbs to the top of the structure and knocks down Lee and Everett to the mat! Low-Ki is still the X-Division champion!

Winner: Low-Ki
