Jeff Jarrett Working on Plans for World Cup Trios tournament

Jeff Jarrett is reported to be currently working on plans for a possible World Cup Trios tournament, according to the Wrestling Observer. The plan would involve stars from Impact Wrestling, Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH, and Mexico’s AAA and be held this October in Japan.

While talks are still on-going, the plan could get dropped or possibly need a new company involved due to issues on AAA’s side and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s partnership with Mexico’s Crash Lucha Libre. The reason given was due to the WWE only wanting Bayley to have the move and Bayley having seniority when it comes to WWE deciding who gets certain moves.

At the moment, Hojo is currently finishing final commitments for Stardom before heading to WWE’s Performance Center soon.
