Roderick Strong vs. Eric Young

Eric Young was accompanied to the ring by his SAnitY stablemates, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe. Roderick Strong made his entrance and took out Dain and Wolfe on the outside before the match began. However, a few minutes into the match, while Young was distracting the referee, Killian Dain hit a big cross body block on Roderick Strong on the outside, which allowed Eric Young to take control. Alexander Wolfe also later hit a big boot on Strong while the ref wasn’t looking. The crowd was behind Strong, chanting “Let’s Go Roddy.”

Roderick Strong finally took control for a bit, but Eric Young hit his “signature move,” a wheelbarrow neckbreaker on the outside. Young went for his finisher again, but Strong reversed. Dain and Wolfe tried to interfere again, but Strong fought them off. Young climbed to the middle rope, but Strong hit running knee strike, knocking him outside onto Dain and Wolfe, taking them out. Strong then hit another running knee in the ring, then hit his double knee backbreaker finisher for the win.

Winner: Roderick Strong

WWE United Kingdom Championship
Tyler Bate (c) vs. Pete Dunne

Jim Ross’s theme music hit and he made his entrance, joining Nigel McGuinness on commentary for this match.

This was an incredible match and the crowd was extremely into it. Dunne used heel tactics, working on Bate’s fingers and hands. Dunne hit a great release suplex on the outside, landing Bate on the apron. Lots of great back and forth action and sweet moves. Bate picked Dunne up on his shoulders and did a really fast and long airplane spin, which made both guys dizzy. Dunne hit a forearm then a release suplex into a sit-out powerbomb, but Bate kicked out at two and a half. Crowd went nuts. They faced off in the ring and exchanged blows. Dunne threw Bate into the ropes, but he bounced off with his shoulders and hit a big punch on Dunne and the crowd gave another standing ovation.

Bate went for his finisher, but could not lift Dunne up and Dunne reversed into a pumphandle slam attempt, but Bate somehow turned it into an insane DDT, landing Dunne right on the top of his head. Bate then hit a moonsault off the middle rope onto Dunne on the outside. Then a corkscrew 450 back in the ring, but Dunne kicked out. Another standing ovation. Dunne rolled to the outside… Bate went for a dive onto Dunne, but Dunne moved and Bate landed on the outside. Dunne rolled him into the ring and hit his pumphandle finisher, the Bitter End, for the win. Amazing match.

Winner: Pete Dunne – New WWE United Kingdom Champion

NXT Women’s Championship – Triple Threat Match
Asuka (c) vs. Nikki Cross vs. Ruby Riot

Ember Moon was shown “in the rafters” staring down at the match, wearing a sling on her injured arm. After some back and forth action from all three women, Ruby Riot eventually hit a dive to the outside onto Asuka. Then went to the top rope and dropped on her back onto Nikki Cross. She went for the pin, but Asuka hit a big bridging German suplex. Asuka then hit a big German suplex onto Nikki Cross, but Ruby Riot nailed Asuka and went to the top rope, but missed her move and Asuka locked on a submission, but Nikki Cross made the save. Later, Asuka went to attack Nikki on the outside, but Nikki lifted up the ring apron “skirt” and Asuka got caught in between and Nikki went to work on Asuka.

Ruby and Nikki doubleteamed Asuka, knocking her out of the ring, then they started fighting each other. Nikki went for her finisher, but Ruby reversed and hit a Pele kick. She went for the pin, but Asuka ran in and nailed Ruby Riot with a stiff knee strike to the face. Asuka pinned them both for the win.

Winner: Asuka

NXT Championship
Bobby Roode (c) vs. Hideo Itami

Itami almost hit his “Go to Sleep” finisher about 30 seconds into the match, but Roode escaped and walked down the entrance ramp to regroup. Itami controlled most of the match. He threw Roode into the ringpost shoulder first, and continued to work on Roode’s shoulder. Roode finally took control with a spinebuster, then went for the Glorious DDT but couldn’t lift Itami up because of his hurt shoulder. Roode nailed Itami’s leg on the outside. Back in the ring, they exchanged blows before Itami regained control and went for the Go to Sleep, but couldn’t lift Roode up because of his hurt leg. Roode reversed into a Glorious DDT, but Itami kicked out. Both guys were down. Out of nowhere, Itami hit a Go to Sleep, but Roode rolled outside. Itami rolled him back in, but Roode kicked out. Itami went for the Go to Sleep again but Roode reversed it into a sunset flip, but Itami kicked out. Itami hit a few kicks on Roode, then pulled down his knee pad and again signaled for the Go to Sleep. He went for it, but Roode reversed again and hit a Glorious DDT. He immediately lifted him up and hit another Glorious DDT for the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode

NXT Tag Team Championship – Ladder Match
The Authors of Pain (c) vs. #DIY

#DIY used their quickness and high flying moves to get an early advantage over the Authors of Pain. There was a gigantic ladder set up near the entrance. They brought it to ringside and Johnny Gargano dived through the ropes, through the ladder to the outside onto the Authors of Pain. There was a cool spot where Rezar picked up a ladder to hit Ciampa, but Ciampa suddenly ran up the ladder and almost grabbed the titles while Rezar was holding the ladder. Ciampa’s sprained ankle seemed fine.

The Authors of Pain each set up a ladder horizontally on the apron and ringside barrier, then picked up #DIY on the apron and each went for a powerbomb onto the ladders, but Ciampa escaped and nailed the other Author of Pain, saving Gargano. The Authors of Pain were then each set up onto the same horizontal ladders, and DIY both climbed the giant ladder at ringside. Ciampa and Gargano then simultaneously hit a big splash off the ladder onto the Authors of Pain onto both horizontal ladders.

Ciampa set up a ladder and tried climbing up, but one of the Authors of Pain stopped him. Gargano set up a ladder next to them, and the other Author of Pain came in and fought him. All four men fought on top of the two ladders. Everyone was knocked off except Gargano. Gargano jumped to the ladder in the center of the ring and went to grab the titles, but Paul Ellering interfered. No DQ. However, Ellering was then met with a superkick by Gargano. The Authors of Pain went to nail Ciampa with a ladder, but Gargano took the bullet for him and was nailed in the face.

Rezar climbed the ladder, but Ciampa grabbed him and German suplexed him off the ladder onto another ladder that was set up in the corner and the (wood-like) ladder broke in half. Crazy. Akam grabbed a ladder, but Gargano superkicked him and the ladder was lodged on top of his head. Ciampa and Gargano then hit him with a double superkick.

DIY both climbed up the ladder to grab the titles, but the Authors of Pain got up and pushed the ladder away and Gargano and Ciampa were left hanging onto the titles. The Authors of Pain then each hit a powerbomb on both members of DIY, then went up and grabbed the titles themselves for the win.

Winners: The Authors of Pain

After the match, a defeated #DIY received a standing ovation and chant of “DIY” as they embraced each other. They embraced again at the entrance ramp as the crowd continued to chant DIY. Out of nowhere, Ciampa grabbed Gargano and threw him into the entrance video screen! Whoa… Then a running knee by Ciampa. He pulled off his knee pad and hit another running knee. Gargano and the crowd looked shocked. Crowd chanted “F*ck you Ciampa.” Ciampa grabbed Gargano and threw him onto the announce table near the entrance ramp. He picked him up and dropped him down off the table onto two tables below. Crowd chanted “holy shit.” Ciampa stood up on the announce table and the crowd chanted “asshole.” Ciampa sat on the table and stared down at Gargano as the medical team checked on him, and the show went off the air…
