Vince Russo Files Restraining Order Against Jim Cornette

In recent weeks, Vince Russo and Jim Cornette have been verbally feuding against each other on their respective podcast shows. The feud originated from Russo claiming Vince McMahon was considering giving him a job again in the WWE while Cornette claimed Russo constantly bugs Vince every week for a job and verbally bashed him in a recent episode of Table For 3 on the WWE Network.

The situation took a drastic turn recently after Russo filed a restraining order against Cornette demanding he stay away from himself, his wife, his home, and his place of employment. The restraining order was filed on June 16th in Posey County Superior Court in Indiana.

During a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast show, Cornette confirmed he was issued a restraining order and apologized for the situation escalating into the restraining order being made. Cornette stated he never meant the feud to be anything besides a big joke and didn’t actually think Russo would take things seriously nor fear for his well-being. Cornette was also a bit concerned about the amount of personal information of Russo being sent by fans of his podcast show. Same for also feeling bad if Russo currently selling his home was due to this situation.

Cornette still made fun of Russo repeatedly during the podcast show but stressed for Russo to not take anything seriously and he would be more careful with his rants of Russo in the future.
