GFW held six nights of Impact TV tapings from August 17-22 in Orlando, FL. These tapings will be for 12 episodes, taking the show all the way through to Bound for Glory on November 5.

August 17

In-Ring: Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim
Taryn says is tired of the Gail show. Came back to help her retire. Gail comes out and runs Taryn off.

OVE defeated The Heatseekers

In-Ring: Grado, Laurel Van Ness, Kongo Kong
Grado says his time is up. Fans erupt with “Thank You Grado” “Please Don’t Go” dueling chants. Laurel is out and she is no longer Laurel Van Mess. Laurel is a changed woman because of Grado. Laurel proposes to Grado. Grado says yes. Fans are eating this up big time. Kong out to break up the party, but Shera cuts him off and Kong backs down.

Gauntlet Match
Gauntlet has entrants every 90 seconds. Over the top elimination until final two, then becomes pinfall or submission. Gauntlet starts with Eli Drake and Eddie Edwards. Next: Bokarra, Eddie Kingston, Braxton Sutter, Richard Justice, EC3, Kongo Kong, Suicide, Shera, Chris Adonis, Fantasma, Johnny Impact, Garza Jr, Fallah Bahh, KM, Ishimori, Bobby Lashley, Moose, Low-Ki.

Final 6 are Moose, Johnny, Low-Ki, Eddie Edwards, Lashley, and Eli Drake. Final 4 are Moose, Drake, Eddie Edwards, Johnny Impact. Eli and Eddie Edwards are the final two. Your winner AND NEW GFW Global Champion, ELI DRAKE!

Xplosion: Ishimori defeated Suicide with the 450

In-Ring: Eli Drake, Chris Adonis, Johnny Impact, Eddie Edwards
Impact opening with a celebration from Eli Drake. Eli and Adonis out. Eli pissed it took this long to become champ. Eli is still playing heel for sure. Johnny interrupts Eli. Sick of hearing Eli run his mouth. Johnny had had more names than Eli has had championships. Eddie joins the segment. Eddie says in Impact he outranks Johnny. Wants championship again. Cornette books tag match for next wk. Edwards/Impact v Eli/Adonis. Eli wins he doesn’t have to defend title. Winner gets shot.

Grand Championship: EC3 defeated Fantasma by split decision
Hector Guerrero is one of the judges. Hector and Fantasma get into after the match. Fantasma and ??? attack EC3. Eddie Edward comes out to save EC3 from the beat down.

OVE defeated Bahh/Bokara

Petey Williams defeated Konley with the Canadian Destroyer
Lee/Konley attack Petey after, but Sonjay makes the save.

Kongo Kong defeated Richard Justice
Kong squashes Richard Justice. Shera confronts Kongo Kong after.

Low-Ki defeated James Storm
LAX interfered.

Chris Adonis and Eli Drake defeated Johnny Impact and Eddie Edwards
Drake pins Eddie.

In-Ring: ATT and Jim Cornette
ATT out to antagonize the Impact stars. Cornette says if Bobby gets involved Bobby will lose his title match at AAA.

Sonjay/Petey defeated Lee/Konley
Sonjay pins Konley to get the win for his team.

LAX defeated Jon Bolen/Zachary Wentz
OVE out, and want shot at title. Konnan says come to Crash in Tijuana to get their shot.

Taryn/Sienna over Allie/Kim
Rosemary out to biggest pop of the night. Heels get upper hand. Out comes Taya for the save! It’s a swerve. Taya lays out Rosemary! To be clear. Rosemary, Kim, and Allie are faces. Taryn, Sienna, and Taya are heels.

In-Ring: Jim Cornette, Johnny Impact, LAX
Cornette out. Corny would bet that Sydal wins title tonight. Johnny Impact out. Johnny wants winner of Sydal/Drake. LAX interrupt Johnny and Cornette. Konnan says Johnny’s opinion is as irrelevant as the AAA TITLE. Low-Ki says this isn’t WWE or LU. LAX attack Johnny. Security out to break it up.

Fantasma/Pagano defeated Eddie/EC3 after Texano interferes
James Storm out and nails Texano with a beer bottle. Storm shakes hands with Eddie. Gives EC3 nasty look and leaves.

Drake defeated Sydal
After hitting him with the belt. Really good match.

In-Ring: Lashley
JB announces Lashley is “quitting” GFW and tonight is his last appearance. Lashley has to make a choice, MMA or wrestling. Has to make a choice. He picks MMA. Going back to his real friends, ATT. Lashley calls out Moose. Moose and Lashley fight through the crowd. ATT get involved and lay out Moose.

August 19

In-Ring: Grado and Joseph Park
Grado wins a match. Says tomorrow his plane goes back to Glasgow. Park out. Park is sponsoring Grady’s visa. He gets to stay in US. Celebration ensues.

X Division Championship, Falls Count Anywhere: Trevor Lee defeated Sonjay Dutt
Lee over Sonjay to become X Division champ. Match ended outside the Impact Zone with Konley helping Lee. Really fun match.

In-Ring: Johnny Impact, KM
Johnny calls out Eli Drake. KM comes out instead. KM says Drake is still in Mexico. Johnny says that is a lie and Drake is avoiding him. KM says Johnny should put his #1 contendership in the line. Johnny agrees. And we have a match.

Johnny Impact defeated KM

Taya defeated Ava Storie
Taya wants KO title. Rosemary out. Rosemary says if anything Mr deserves a title shot it’s “US!” Attack ensues. Sienna out to help Taya. Heels argue, but go over. Allie out for save. Taryn out, now 3 on 2. Gail ends up making the save running off the heels.

Segment: Laurel Van Ness
Laurel is out with jacked up make up again. She’s not marrying Grado apparently. She’s now in the crowd looking for a husband.

Kongo Kong defeated Shera

Texano/Fantasma defeated EC3/Storm
Pagano interfered to give Fantasma/Texano the win. Storm/EC3 were reluctant partners. Good match.

Xplosion: Pagano defeated Cody Martin

X Division Championship: Lee retains over Petey Williams

Segment: Laurel Van Ness
LVN was in the crowd in a pink skirt and white top.

Taya defeated Amber Nova

Johnny Impact defeated Low-Ki in a #1 Contender Match
Eli comes out. Stares down Johnny. Adonis comes from behind to attack Johnny. Adonis/Drake beat down Johnny. Drake stands tall with belt. That’s it for tonight. Weakest of the three tapings thus far.

Six Way X Division Non-Title Match: Lee v Petey v Sydal v Garza Jr v Sonjay v Xavier
Xavier pins Lee. This was non-title.

In-Ring: Sienna, Gail Kim, Taryn, Allie
Sienna coming out to reveal her BFG plans. Sienna says she has to be GFW HOF inductee for BFG. Gail Kim comes out. Gail wants her rematch at BFG. Taryn comes out. Taryn says Gail has never beat her. Out comes Allie. Allie has been working hard and deserves title shot. Out comes Karen Jarrett. Karen says at BFG, Sienna defends against Gail, Taryn, and Allie.

Johnny Impact defeated Texano
Good TV match.

Victory Road: OVE defeated LAX to win the tag titles

In-Ring: Jeremy Borash, Joseph Park
JB tells us there is evidence Park has been stealing from Grado. Park out and pushes JB. He is not a thief. Park says no one will disrespect him and this crowd sucks. JB says later tonight, Park will be put on trial… oh boy…

Lee/Konley/Everett v Sonjay/Petey/Sydal
Sydal pins Everett. After the match Sonjay challenges Lee for BFG. Petey says the shot is his at BFG. Sydal says the shot is his at BFG. Segment ends with faces arguing.

OVE defeated Jon Bolen/Trey Miguel

Mixed Tag – Sienna/Texano/Everett v Allie/Xavier/Storm
Storm pins Everett to get the W for himself, Allie, and Xavier over Everett, Sienna, and Texano.

In-Ring Trial
Park admits to stealing from Grado, but he has Grado’s visa. Park presents option of match at BFG against Park. If Grado wins he gets to stay, loses he leaves. Grado signs. Park says at BFG Grado will be fighting ABYSS in MONSTER’S BALL.

Victory Road: In-Ring: James Storm, Texano, Fantasma
James Storm out to cut a promo. Storm says AAA guys want to disrespect him. He’s the best in GFW! Texano interrupts Storm. Crowd chants USA. Storm stops them says we are all human beings this isn’t USA v Mexico. Storm/Texano brawl. Out comes Fantasma. They lay out Storm. Fantasma says Texano is a cowboy too. Fantasma supports GFW, but AAA is the best in the world. EC3 out to save Storm. EC3 and Storm shake hands.

Victory Road: Taya/Taryn/Sienna v Allie/Rosemary/Gail
Sienna pins Allie to get the win.

Victory Road: GFW Championship: Eli Drake defeated Johnny Impact
Still champ, Eli Drake. Normal JJ booked title match with ref bumps, interference, etc. Adonis/Drake beat up Johnny. Garza Jr with the save. LAX out to attack Garza Jr. Chaos ensues. Adonis beats up refs.

Xplosion: Grand Champion EC3 defeated Moose
After a Low Kick & a Rollup with the tights. Non-title match.

Xplosion: Cowboy James Storm pinned Caleb Konley(w/ Andrew Everett) after a Last Call
Caleb had a mouthful of beer to mist Storm but ate the Superkick making him spit it everywhere.

Impact: In-Ring: Eli Drake and Chris Adonis
Eli Drake & Chris Adonis are celebrating Eli beating Johnny Impact at Victory Road. Johnny Impact isn’t here tonight & Eli says he isn’t coming back. He gives his jacket the Gravy Train Flair style. Eli says he’s got the night off so it’s a celebration for the ladies. Very Flair like promo from Drake. Drake set up Adonis in a match tonight but he doesn’t know who his opponent is. Here comes Garza Jr.

Garza Jr. & Chris Adonis went to a No Contest
Johnny Impact attacked Adonis. Jim Cornette comes out says next week we will have Impact VS. Garza one on one. Eli & Adonis eating popcorn. The winner challenges Drake on November 5 at Bound For Glory. The countdown clock for BFG is ticking. Johnny & Garza go at it again until they are separated once & for all by refs & security. Cornette says we will see that fight right here tonight. Garza against Impact, winner faces Drake at BFG.

In-Ring: Taryn Terrell, Gail Kim
Taryn Terrell comes out telling us to cheer for her. Now she has a title shot at BFG, it’s time to set my sights on something personal. Here comes Gail. Taryn has nothing to worry about. She’s here to talk. Mind Games don’t work with me, just stop. I truly believe karma will slap you in the face before I do. She slaps Taryn & attacks. Taryn is sent out of the ring. Taryn arms crossed leaves as Gail celebrates with the crowd.

Rosemary pinned Hannah Hartford after The Red Wedding
Quick squash. The lights go out then come back on. Calls out Taya Valkyrie. Accept a dance with the demon. Here comes Taya. She goes for the mist & Taya mists her instead. She lays out Rosemary with the double chicken wing facebuster.

In-Ring: LAX and OVE
LAX comes out. It’s EYFBO, Konnan & Diamante. Calls out OVE for their rematch clause. Here comes Jake & David Crist with the tag belts. They enter the ring with chairs as protection. Split crowd chants. Name the match you’ve got it. Konnan says 5150 Streetfight. OVE are not afraid of anything, you’ve got it. It doesn’t matter what it is. Diamanté says 5150 means all of them. A brawl has erupted. David Crist eats a Hanging Cutter/Yakuza Kick combo then they toss Jake over the top through a table. LAX stands tall. OVE against LAX in a 5150 Streetfight at Bound For Glory.

Xplosion: X Division Champion Trevor Lee pinned Suicide
After countering a sunset flip & holding the ropes. Non-title.

Impact: Johnny Impact pinned Garza Jr.
After reversing into a Rollup to become # 1 Contender to Eli Drake at BFG. Good back & forth match with the two shaking hands afterwards. Cornette in ring to announce officially Johnny as # 1 contender. Here comes Chris Adonis. He shatters a wooden board over Johnny’s head & leaves him laying. Fans chant fire him. Adonis leaves as Cornette & Brian Hebner check on Johnny.

Dezmond Xavier pinned Andrew Everett(w/ Lee & Konley) after a Double Backflip Kick

In-Ring: American Top Team
JB in ring talking about Bound For Glory & here comes American Top Team. They shove JB down. They came as a favor to Jarrett & watched Lashley waste his MMA potential. Fans chant Boring. We don’t care chants now. Dan Lambert is talking about being the biggest wrestling fan & having the biggest memorabilia collection. Lambert gets into a fact fight with a ringside fan. Finally gets to the Jarretts. Pulls out the original AWA Title. Lashley & King Mo will do everything to take back respect for American Top Team. Lambert loves wrestling but wants them to destroy it. Calls out Moose & Stephan Bonner to face King Mo & Lashley in a Fight at BFG. Stephan Bonnar & Moose have shown up & Lashley attacks them from behind. They mug Bonnar. Spear to both Bonnar & Moose. Here comes security & the refs. Shera, Konley, Everett all destroyed by Top Team & Lashley. Lambert says we are dismissed. American Top Team have destroyed Moose & Bonnar & laid waste to several of the roster. Lashley just mouthed I’m not going anywhere to the crowd.

Johnny Impact pinned Chris Adonis after a Sky Twister Elbow off the top
Eli Drake hits the ring & Johnny rips off his pants . He takes off Drake’s belt & whips him with it. Adonis saves & he beats on Johnny. Eli is now in boxers choking Johnny with his shirt. Eli whips Johnny until Garza runs out with a chair for the save to send Eli & Adonis packing. Johnny & Garza celebrate as they toss Drake’s shirt into the crowd.

Impact: Moose(w/ Stephan Bonnar) defeated Lashley(w/ Dan Lambert by DQ
Lambert hit Moose with a trophy. They brawled until American Top Team came out & Moose ran them off with a chair. Bound For Glory is now Six Sides of Steel with Bonnar & Moose VS. Lashley & King Mo.

Johnny Impact & Garza Jr defeated Eli Drake & Chris Adonis when Johnny rolled up Adonis for the pin.

In-Ring: Gail Kim
JB brings out Gail Kim to promote the 10th anniversary of the Knockouts Division & its first champion. Promotes Gail in her final BFG appearance against Allie, Taryn Terrell & Knockouts Champion Sienna. Gail is gonna bring the belt back where it started. Around her waist.

Xplosion: EC3 pinned Suicide after a ECD

Impact: In-Ring: Lashley and ATT
Lashley & Dan Lambert come out for a promo with the rest of American Top Team. Lambert bashes Pro Wrestling & Pro Wrestlers. He said he’s gonna put this company out of business. Fans chanting Boring. They literally hate all of these guys especially Lambert. Moose & Bonnar have accepted the challenge this week of King Mo & Lashley. Lambert calls out Jeff Jarrett saying his family’s run in pro wrestling is over at BFG. This is nuclear heat for all of American Top Team. Great build for BFG.

Xplosion: Mahabali Shera pinned X Division Champion Trevor Lee after a Sky High in a Non Title Match

Impact: Taya Valkyrie pinned Rosemary
After a Northern Lights Suplex into a double Stomp. Afterwards she misted Taya. Rosemary wants Taya at Bound For Glory. She screams Bloody Mary as Taya scurries away. Sounds like First Blood possibly at BFG.

Johnny Impact & OVE defeated Eli Drake & LAX
Impact pinned Santana after a Slingshot Sunset Flip. OVE & LAX brawled to the back as Drake & Adonis pulled the canvas & padding from the ring mat. The wooden boards were exposed as Drake delivered the Gravy Train into the bare boards. They celebrated over Johnny’s unconscious body & Drake raised the GFW Title high in the air. Refs & security are checking on Impact in the ring. My guess is he’s winning the title at BFG. Johnny is helped to the back & that’s the end of the Tapings.
