As mentioned yesterday, John Cena’s name has been thrown around as a possible special guest referee for the Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal match at Survivor Series.
However, Cena is not the only person being considered for the referee role, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer said that a couple of other names are being considered for the role, but that they may not want to do it. Meltzer didn’t specify who the other names could be, but when asked if Undertaker or Goldberg were being considered, said that he hadn’t heard anything about those names for the role and it seemed unlikely because Brock Lesnar has already had feuds with them and “it’s already been done.”
