Various News: Impact Pizza, NJPW, Kane’s PPV Streak

Impact Wrestling to Debut New Limited Time Pizza and Beverage

Impact Wrestling recently announced that they will be holding a press conference this Friday to debut a new pizza and beverage brand for the company. The press conference will occur at the Crust & Crate Fast Fired Pizza Pub in Ottawa, Canada with Bobby Lashley and Eli Drake being at the event to taste the new food. Both the Impact brand pizza and beverage will only be available from November 4th to November 10th. Impact Wrestling will also be hosting official parties at the Crust & Crate from November 5th to November 10th as part of the promotion for this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.

NJPW News & Notes

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s director of US operations, George Carroll, recently announced the company will be making a major announcement during the Power Struggle PPV event on November 5th.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that the official reason why Kenny Omega did not have the IWGP United States Championship belt with him for Ring of Honor’s recent Global Wars shows was due to NJPW forgetting to send the belt to the United States. NJPW thought Omega had the belt with him during his travel to the US while Omega thought NJPW was sending the belt separately to ROH for the shows.
