WWE News: Harper and Rowan / Breezango, Bo Dallas, Stephanie McMahon

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan returned as a tag team known as “The Bludgeon Brothers” in a backstage promo on SmackDown this past Tuesday.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, they were at least one of the teams that were originally supposed to be the ones who attacked Breezango in their Fashion Files segment. However, right now, it’s not known WWE even has any plans at all to reveal the team who attacked them, or if it’s just another running gag like the Emmalina thing.

At TLC, WWE promised a “Pulp Fashion” segment for SmackDown, but that never aired.

Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas was not on Raw and was not at WWE’s weekend house shows because he was out with an undisclosed illness.

Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon was interviewed by Fortune and talked about how fan reactions affect WWE’s storylines.

The WWE also empowers fans by tweaking its in-ring storylines based on what’s resonating with viewers, said McMahon: “We’re taking feedback in real time.” And in WWE NXT, the company’s developmental league, “our audience is actually determining who makes it to the next level—and they know it,” adds McMahon.

“Our audience tells us what they love, what they don’t like, and—worst—what they don’t care about,” she says.
