The Impact Bound for Glory PPV will take place tomorrow night in Ottawa, Ontario. Impact will also tape several weeks of shows on Monday-Friday in Ottawa.
According to PWInsider, Impact is attempting to reach a certain amount of Canadian crew members at the tapings in order to be eligible for production tax breaks.
Impact is expected to use local Canadians as referees, ring announcing and other positions. Impact is not bringing a portion of their regular team to Canada.
That’s why they recently released a few of their regular referees. Referees Brian Hebner, Robert King and Brian Stiffler have all left the company.
Long time referee Earl Hebner has also now left the company, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. Hebner had been with TNA/Impact since 2006 and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2015.
