Update on Status of Vince Biopic in Production

As previously reported, a film based on the life of Vince McMahon is currently in production by both WWE Studios and TriStar Pictures. Bradley Cooper had been offered the role of Vince McMahon in the film depending on his approval of the script.

In an update to this situation, a newly revised script is reported to have recently been completed and waiting for Tristar Pictures approval before it will be sent to Cooper for his final decision. In regards to the film itself, the tentative plans are for filming to start this Spring although it entirely depends on the official cast and final script being finished beforehand.

Details on Chris Jericho’s RAW 25th Anniversary Appearance

During the past several weeks, WWE has been gradually revealing names of former WWE stars scheduled to appear at next week’s RAW 25th anniversary show. Among those revealed this week included Chris Jericho who last appeared for the company last July.

In regards to Jericho’s status in the WWE, Tuesday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio show reported a deal between the two sides has yet to be signed and WWE made the announcement of Jericho’s appearance prematurely. While Dave Meltzer stated a deal will very likely be made official soon, it will also likely be just for one-night only. At the moment, Chris Jericho is currently busy with his commitments to NJPW and his Fozzy tour.

It was also reported Jericho’s current contract with NJPW is not exclusive in regards to wrestling appearances and NJPW were well aware of WWE wanting Jericho for their upcoming RAW anniversary show during the contract talks for Wrestle Kingdom 12.


Current Health Status of NXT’s Kairi Sane

While responding to a fan question on Twitter, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer revealed the official reason for Kairi Sane’s recent absence from NXT shows is due to her needing time off to recover from some wear-and tear type injuries.
