Gran Metalik defeated TJP

TJP tackled Metalik down quickly for two. Metalik countered a kick with a quick takedown and chopped TJP’s chest before a run-up arm drag into a dropkick. Kalisto watched the match at a 90-degree angle, as all humans do.

Metalik landed a springboard moonsault off the top to the floor. He went for a blind diving elbow, but TJP dropkicked him. TJP locked him in a tree of woe but missed a dropkick and landed hamstring-first into the post. TJP ran up into the corner and ate a nasty superkick.

Metalik got a “lucha libre” chant and landed a rope-walk elbow for two. TJP hit a springboard forearm, but Metalik got the pin with a cradle.

Backstage: Jack Gallagher

A graphic aired with Jack Gallagher warning of what he’ll do to Hideo Itami. A recap in still form showed off the beating that Gallagher endured last week. Gallagher talked backstage about being tortured by the sounds of Brian Kendrick’s skull cracking. Gallagher mentioned how Itami is like armor — Itami has weaknesses too and he’ll find them.

Backstage: TJP

Backstage, TJP threw a temper tantrum and was interviewed. He was asked if he’s crying, which may be the first time an interview in WWE has started with something other than “my guest at this time” in years.

Goldust defeated The Zo Train (Drew Gulak, Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari)

Goldust came out with Alexander to a huge “Goldust” chant. Goldust chatted with Alexander about chances for a bit and they quoted movies. The Zo Train was out, and Drew Gulak was in actual shorts instead of his tiny trunks and had a cowboy hat for some reason.

Enzo Amore said that Goldust is just acting like Alexander’s friend and claimed to be a bigger star than Goldust ever was and Alexander ever will be. Amore, the man dressed like a jar of spaghetti, called Goldust a comedy act.

Goldust challenged Amore to a match and Amore said he’ll make him famous — once he gets through auditions against The Zo Train.

Goldust darted around with Gulak and hit a butt-butt. Daivari ate an arm drag and two different types of atomic drops. Goldust landed the 10 punches in the corner before eating a blindside beating from Daivari.

Nese attacked briefly before Gulak slugged Goldust and then Daivari came in again. Gulak was hit with the Final Cut and pinned after Alexander saved Goldust from a beating from Amore.
