Sky Sports Reveals Start Time for WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble Event

Sky Sports announced that WWE’s upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event is currently scheduled to air live in the United Kingdom at 5PM local time and will be available to watch on pay-per-view channel Sky Sports Box Office.

WWE is rumored to be airing the event on the WWE Network in the United States and based on the Sky Sports announcement, it is expected to start at 12PM ET if aired live.

This event will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th and features the largest ever Royal Rumble match in company history with 50 competitors participating. The rest of the card for the event will be seven championship matches although none involving the RAW or SmackDown Women’s Championship.


WWE Approved for Several New Trademarks

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has recently approved several trademark applications filed by WWE, according to PWInsider.

WWE’s trademark filings for Rich Swann, Bobby Roode, TJ Perkins, and Brian Kendrick were all officially approved on March 20th.


Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja Close to Signing Deals with the WWE

Both Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja are reported to be close to signing a deal with the WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Newsletter both Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja have undergone WWE medical testing with the belief of contracts to be offered if they pass. Garza Jr previously worked for Impact Wrestling in 2017.

Meltzer also reported WWE has become more aggressive in trying to find a Mexican star for their Hispanic market. Besides Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja, WWE is also reported to be currently in talks with both Rey Mysterio and Alberto El Patron for possible returns to the company.
