WWE announced that there will be a second “United Kingdom Championship Tournament” on June 18 and 19.
It’ll take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.
The first tournament was held on January 14-15, 2017 and saw Tyler Bate defeat Pete Dunne in the finals to become the first WWE UK Champion.
Pete Dunne is the current UK Champion, so we’ll see what WWE does with that.
In a promo video for the WWE Network (below), WWE briefly mentioned that there would be an upcoming “King of the Ring U.K. Tournament.” It seems like that’s probably the same tournament, but we’ll see. A second Mae Young Classic tournament was also mentioned in the video.
