WWE Sued by Tattoo Artist Over Copyright Infringement Claims

WWE was recently sued by a tattoo artist over allegations of copyright infringement, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that tattoo artist Catherine Alexander recently sued both WWE and 2K Games, alleging that her designs for Randy Orton’s tattoos were used without permission for WWE’s video game series.

Alexander has been Orton’s tattooist since 2003 and this is the second time she has raised similar copyright complaints against WWE. The other instance was reported to have occurred in 2009 when WWE offered $450 to purchase the rights to the designs, which the artist declined.


WWE Poll Asks Fans If AJ Styles Should Wear a Cup for His Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble

WWE.com is currently holding a poll asking fans if AJ Styles should wear a protective cup for his match against Shinsuke Nakamura at next week’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. The choices available are Yes and Yes, obviously.

At the time of this report, “Yes, obviously” leads with 74% of the fan vote.


Another WWE Poll Asks Fans Which General Manager Won the 2018 Superstar Shakeup

WWE.com is also currently holding another poll asking fans which General Manager won this year’s Superstar Shakeup. The choices available are RAW General Manager Kurt Angle and SmackDown General Manager Paige.

At the time of this report, Paige leads with 64% of the fan vote.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

MLW announced both Rey Fenix and ACH will be making appearances at their May 3rd television tapings in Orlando, Florida. Both will be facing off against each other in a singles match.

As part of their tribute to the passing of Bruno Sammartino, ROH recently uploaded to their official Youtube channel a ceremony they held during 2006’s ROH Glory By Honor: Night 2 event honoring Sammartino and his legacy in wrestling.

Smash Wrestling announced WALTER, Tessa Blanchard, and Matt Riddle will all be making appearances for the company during this summer. WALTER was announced to be appearing at their July 15th show in Toronto, Blanchard was announced for their August 26th show, and Riddle was announced for their June 3rd tournament event.
