WWE announced today that Randy Orton recently underwent knee surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee.
They said that Orton knew that he needed the surgery since late last year and “now was the right time.”
They didn’t say anything about how long he may be out, but it’s likely that he’ll miss at least a month or two.
Update: According to Dave Meltzer, as of right now, Orton is scheduled to return in two months, which would be about a month before SummerSlam, which takes place on August 19.
