Big Cass Injury Status Update

As noted before, Big Cass was rumored to have suffered a knee injury during last week’s WWE European tour. Conflicting reports on the legitimacy of his injury have cast some doubt on whether or not his injury was just part of WWE’s on-going storyline for his feud with Daniel Bryan. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported Big Cass likely injured his ACL which would require the need for surgery and a lengthy rehab time.

In an update to this situation, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported Big Cass is currently scheduled to be traveling this week with the rest of the SmackDown brand roster which could mean his injury, if legit, is not as serious as previously expected. Big Cass was pulled from last week’s SmackDown and his previously scheduled Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying match against Samoa Joe.
