Hey yo, in yet another surprise, I'm called in last minute to do your News and Rumors, the People's News and Rumors, due to a personal emergency for Tim Brechlin. To be completely honest, I have about twenty minutes to get this report done, so don't expect me to give a Pulitzer Prize winning effort. With that said, let's get on with the N & R...

Let's start off with the top story of the day, which involves the now 15 time World Champion, the current WCW Champion, Nature Boy Ric Flair. After the Thunder main event, Flair collapsed in the ring, which was thought to be a heart attack, but rather was simply an inner ear problem which goes back to an injury that he suffered against the Ultimate Warrior in the early 90s. Flair eventually went back to his home in Charlotte for more testing. As of now, it seems that Flair is pretty much okay. No word if he'll wrestle on Monday's Nitro but it's pretty much guaranteed that Flair will be able to go for the Great American Bash where he's rumored to be taking on his son, David Flair.

On another Flair related note, Arn Anderson, who was set to wrestle in a tag team match with Flair last night at the Thunder taping, broke a bone in his foot sometime during the night.

Sid Vicious was sent home after complaining that he reinjured his arm on Nitro from chokeslamming DDP. Many feel that Sid isn't pleased with the new management as he was the top guy during the Sullivan regime while he is definitely not going to be with Bischoff and Russo around. Well, maybe if Sid stays home, he could have some quality softball time coming his way...

WCW.com has announced that Lance Storm, one of my favorite wrestlers, has signed with WCW. Not a huge announcement as it's been almost common knowledge that Storm was headed to Turner this weekend, but nonetheless, WCW has gained one of ECW's best, and hopefully Calgary's finest Athlete won't get lost in the shuffle, and will get the chance to shine.

In other news on Storm, Lance, along with former two time WCW Champion, Jeff Jarrett will be appearing on WCW Live tomorrow night. So check it out at WCW.com if you have the time tomorrow night.

Reminder, Nitro airs from 7 to 9 next week due to the NBA playoffs. Should be interesting to see how both Nitro and Raw do in the ratings that night, coming off the Judgment Day PPV.

Thunder still airs at 9:05 Eastern tonight. I can't wait to see what happens with the first night of Ric Flair's championship reign.

All of the Millions (and Millions) of the Rock's fans, can check out the WWF Champ on WWF.com's Byte This tomorrow night at 6:00 PM ET. Should be interesting to see what the People's Champ has to say, so if you're a Rock mark like so many, check it out.

WWF.com has added an interesting Kat screen saver in their "Thing" section. Also available is Trish Stratus and Ivory screen savors. You can check them out HERE.

Smackdown spoilers are available at TPWW.Net, so click HERE if you want your Thursday night spoiled.

ECW TV Champion, Rhino will be missing this weekend's shows (TV Taping and House Shows) due to his wedding. We here at TPWW.net, offer our congratulations to, in my mind, one of the most intense competitors in the wrestling business today.

That's it for today. I apologize if this report seems half assed but it's pretty decent concerning the time that I had to complete today's N & R. So until next time, Ciao...
