Young WWE cruiserweight wrestler, Brian "Spanky" Kendrick quit at Tuesday night's Smackdown tapings, unhappy and feeling that he had been misused during his WWE stint. Spanky gave WWE his notice and wants to return to ZERO-ONE wrestling in Japan, according to Mike Johnson.

Several backstage superstars were said to be very respectful of Kendrick for standing up and walking out on his own, and Kendrick was said to still have a spot left in WWE if he ever wanted to come back, because they were pleased with the way he handled himself during the situation.

It has been said that the dream of many young wrestlers coming to WWE quickly turns into a nightmare once they get there.
