Former ECW Wrestler Returns from Military Service in Iraq

Former ECW wrestler Chilly Willy, real name William Jones, has just returned from Military service Iraq. He is now stationed in Syracuse, New York.

In December of 2003 Jones was awarded The Purple Heart by the U.S. Military while stationed in Baghdad, Iraq. The Purple Heart is a combat decoration awarded to members of the armed forces that are wounded by an instrument of war at the hands of the enemy. Often times, however, they are given to the next of kin if the recipient is killed in action or dies of wounds received.

Jones joined the Military after ECW went belly up. He was sent to Iraq at the onset of the current conflict. He is most remembered in ECW from his flaming tables match in October of 2000. He teamed with Balls Mahoney against Angel and Tony DeVito of the Baldies at the Anarchy Rulz pay-per-view in Chicago.

Jones cannot wait to get back into the ring once his tour of duty is up in about seven months. He is a bit rusty of course, but he said he is looking forward to getting back in to ring shape.
