- Many people backstage were not surprised that Sean O'Haire was released last week. O'Haire received a phone call last week telling him that the creative team was unable to come up with ideas for him and that he would be released from his contract. One of the reasons for the release was that some people did not feel that he was dedicated enough to make it in the WWE and that he didn't do enough to get himself noticed by management. Other people believe that O'Haire was a victim of Roddy Piper leaving the company, which before then he was expected to receive a major push.
