Undertaker continues to draw resentment from many backstage at SmackDown for his politicking behind-the-scenes. Although all agree that John Heidenreich is not very good in the ring, there were serious plans in place for Heidenreich to interfere at Summerslam and begin a feud with Undertaker. Taker reportedly nixed this plan to remain in the main-event feud with JBL and is expected to get another main-event payoff at No Mercy. He and Kurt Angle have also simultaneously been pushing for a feud against one another.
