1983 - Roddy Piper defeated Greg Valentine for the NWA U.S. Heavyweight title

1983 - Junkyard Dog defeated Mr. Olympia in a tounament final for the Mid-South North American Heavyweight title

1994 - Pit Bull defeated J.T. Smith for the ECW Television title

1994 - USWA Tag Team title held up

1994 - "Wild Pegasus" Chris Benoit wins the seven-promotion "Super J Cup" tournament at a sold out Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. In the final match, Chris Benoit defeated Michinoku Pro's The Great Sasuke in the junior heavyweight match of the decade

1994 - At Tokyo's Budokan Hall, Toshiaki Kawada defeated Steve Williams in the finals of All-Japan's annual Champions Carnival singles tournament.

1999- Vader wins the All-Japan Champion Carnival by defeating Kenta Kobashi in Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

2000 - Jeff Jarrett defeated Diamond Dallas Page in a tournament final for the vacant WCW Heavyweight title

2000 - Buff Bagwell & Shane Douglas defeated Ric Flair & Lex Luger in a tournament final for the vacant WCW Tag Team title

2000 - Scott Steiner defeated Sting in a tournament final for the vacant WCW US Heavyweight title

2000 - Chris Candido won a six man match for the vacant WCW Cruiserweight title

2000 - Terry Funk defeated Norman SMiley for the vacant WCW Hardcore title

2001 - Triple H defeated Jeff Hardy for the WWF Intercontinental title

2004 - Steve Austin and the WWE parted ways due to a contract dispute over who owns the copyrights of his likeness and could not come to terms to a new contract. This is the second time Steve Austin has left the company.
