1999 - Nick Dinsmore defeated Rod Steele for the Ohio Valley Heavyweight title

2004 - WWE's "Backlash" was held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Some of the results were:

-Intercontinental Heavyweight Title Match (No Holds Barred, No Disqualification Match): Randy Orton pinned Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) to retain the title

-Edge pinned Kane (6:28)

-World Heavyweight Title Match (Triple Threat Match): Chris Benoit defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels (30:14) in a "Triple Threat" match to retain the title when Benoit made Michaels submit.

2007 - WWE severed ties with Deep South Wrestling today after Bruce Prichard spent the week before at the school and gave a negative report back to Vince McMahon.

Orton/Cactus is one of my top 5 favorite matches in the last 5 years. The whole angle had a great build and the match delivered on all parts. This is the match/angle that cemented Orton as a genuine superstar and it wasn't long after this that Orton would capture his 1st World Title. Foley deserves a ton of credit in putting Orton on the map.
