1996 - The Giant defeated Ric flair for the WCW Heavyweight title
1998 - Buff Bagwell sustains spinal shock syndrome after receiving a top rope bulldog from Rick Steiner during a live Thunder broadcast. Bagwell was paralyzed for four minutes and later underwent successful surgery to repair damage to his vertebrae.
