1990 - Jimmy Valiant defeated Jerry Lawler for the USWA Unified Heavyweight title
1990 - Brickhouse Brown & Sweet Daddy Falcone defeated Rex King & Steve Doll for the USWA Tag Team title
1995 - Aprroximately 150,000 attend a New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Korea, settingg an attendence record for one day as nearly 190,000 fans attend the second day of wrestling at the Korean cultural festival
1996 - Event - In Your House VII, Civic Auditorium, Omaha, NE
1997 - Owen Hart defeated Rocky Maivia for the WWF Intercontinental title
1999 - Rob Conway defeated Nick Dinsmore for the Ohio Valley Heavyweight title
2002 - One of the greatest professional wrestlers and only undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, Lou Thesz, passes away at the age of 86 of natural causes. Shortly after having bypass surgery a few weeks before.
2005 - Chris Candido passes away in Matawan, New Jersey from a staph infection after surgery to repair his severely broken leg, which he injured during a tag team match at the NWA TNA PPV "Lockdown" on April 24, 2005 in Orlando, Florida.
