What Happened After Armageddon (Matt Hardy), Live Notes

Thanks to Dean for calling in the following results from the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY:

Earlier in the day, the catering truck bumped into WWE’s production truck outside the arena. No big damage done from what I’m told.

Attendance was full/sold out. Not many empty seats at all.

Festus & Jesse vs. John Morrison & The Miz in a dark match opened the show. The Miz and Morrison were able to get the pin.

Lilian Garcia announced CM Punk as one half of the world tag team champions at Armageddon. Michael Cole quickly corrected her on commentary as The Miz and John Morrison defeated Kofi/Punk for the titles in Canada over the weekend. Dean said that when Lilain went and sat back down, one of the production heads came over and they argued back and forth. Lilian shook her head and moved her hands as if to say “I didn’t know” or “Nobody told me”.

After the show went off the air, Matt Hardy came out and hugged Jeff. Matt and Jeff made their way back to the ring and slapped the fans’ hands. Triple H then got up and shook Jeff’s hand before walking out. Matt and Jeff continued to celebrate as the fans went home happy.
