According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, one employee of World Wrestling Entertainment referred to WWE’s layoffs today as “The Titan Tower Massacre” with a number of top department heads being let go. Various employees have noted just about every supervisor and boss they’ve ever had has been let go. It’s very depressing to say the least.
WWE is reportedly having armed security guards escort the fired employees out of the building. That has not been confirmed though.
Also, it is being reported that ECW brand referee Mike Posey was released today. As we reported earlier, talent releases from all brands are expected to be announced today. Stay tuned for names. It’s going to be a BUSY day and evening here on the site.
