» While the TNA iMPACT! video game had sold 450,000 copies as of two weeks ago, publisher Midway Games has lost approximately $10 million on it. Despite the heavy losses, a sequel is expected to be released this year due to the significant decrease in developmental costs. Theoretically, the game’s sequel could come close to breaking even if it sold the same number of units. However, the first game largely received negative reviews, which would likely have an effect on the same number of copies being moved again.
» Jeff Wilen of the Daytona Beach News-Journal spoke with Kevin Nash today, who is still hospitalized in Charlotte, NC. Nash says that the elbow infection he is suffering from started from a small scrape while wrestling in Japan, and not from his recent tattoo work. Nash also explained that he was signed up with TNA for another three-years (which began in October of 2008) and that he was upset that he couldn’t go on the big European tour.
