Winless WWE Stars Gets Own Show, Kennedy’s Movie, Miller, More

As noted earlier, SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman, who has yet to win a single match in WWE since debuting five months ago, has launched a video show on the WWE website called “What’s Crackin with Scotty Goldman.” The preview reads: “Say “Shalom” to WWE.com’s newest Video Original series “What’s Crackin’ with Scotty Goldman,” hosted by the SmackDown Superstar! Catch the premiere episode as the mensch fires off observations that leave other Superstars verklempt.” Goldman last appeared on television on the 9/19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in a squash loss to The Great Khali.

WWE’s straight-to-DVD release Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia starring SmackDown star Mr. Kennedy debuted at #18 on BoxOfficeMojo.com’s DVD rentals chart this week. For comparison purposes, a few other movies were released on DVD this week including Disaster Movie (debuted at #15), Babylon A.D. (at #4), Bangkok Dangerous (at #3), Righteous Kill (at #2), and Pineapple Express (at #1). The only new DVD release Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia beat out was a film called The Wackness, which debuted at #29. The film was released last July and grossed a total of $2,849,632. Disaster Movie grossed $34,624,652 at the box office, but was near-universally panned by critics, which probably hurt DVD sales.
