The following news is compiled from several live reports sent in by fans who were at last night’s No Way Out Pay-Per-View from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington:
— The show was sold out according to a sign outside Key Arena.
— In a dark match that took place prior to the PPV, WWE Women’s Champion Melina defeated Beth Phoenix to retain the Women’s Title match. Melina won this match with a roll up. Santino and Rosa were both at ringside. The crowd was into this match and into Santino.
— The crowd was very hot for this show. Jeff Hardy and John Cena got the biggest pops of the night.
— A “We Want Christian” chant broke out at the beginning of the ECW title match. This was the only match that the crowd was not that into.
— Edge’s World Heavyweight title victory got a mixed reaction from the crowd. Some were mad and/or confused, while others were cheering for Edge the whole time. Despite Edge’s popularity, you could tell a lot of people were pulling for Mysterio.
