TNA is hyping a new star coming in on their website with the following line: “ANDROMEDA: A New Era….A Unique Superstar…Coming Soon To TNA Wrestling”
No word yet on who could be behind the Andromeda gimmick but it could be Rob Terry from Team 3D’s wrestling school. Terry, who is a big body builder from Wales, was signed to a TNA contract. Terry had a developmental deal with WWE, and was said to have the prototypical WWE look (said to be a more powerful looking HHH) but was cut from the developmental program.
Just an interesting note, in Greek mythology, Andromeda was a woman who was punished by being chained to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea monster, but eventually saved by her future husband.
