» Head SmackDown writer Michael Hayes is feeling pressure regarding the ratings for Friday Night SmackDown. While the show is doing record ratings for MyNetworkTV, they are still far behind what the show was doing last year.
» Speaking of Michael Hayes, he reportedly wants Rey Mysterio brought back to Smackdown when the upcoming WWE Draft takes place. The date for the draft is 4/13. WWE’s draft plans are expected to be finalized during the week of WrestleMania as we noted earlier here on the site. Stay tuned!
» Chris Jericho had a lot of influence on his segment with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper on Raw three weeks ago. He told the WWE Hall of Famer not to use any comedy in the promo and to bring back the Piper from the Wrestlemania 1 build-up. Jericho has also had a lot of input on the Steamboat/Snuka promos as well.
