According to The Hollywood Reporter, WWE Films is getting involved into the relaunch of the Missing in Action franchise. WWE Films would help finance the films and co-produce them, as of now; no WWE Stars are attached to the project. The relaunch of the films are planned to be straight to DVD, and the script is being developed to be a modernized version that would be set in the Middle East.
