MVP/Ziggler/The View, Mickie, Kofo/Beth Phoenix, & More

As announced on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Montel Vontavious Porter will be defending his United States Championship against Dolph Ziggler on this week’s show. You can see the commercial promoting the match-up at the following MyNetworkTV.com. MVP will be accompied by ‘The View’ co-host Sherri Shepard.

Mickie James has two appearances scheduled next month. The former WWE Women’s Champion will be appearing at the Bureau of Worker’s Comp located at 30 West Spring Street in Columbus, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio two weeks from now starting at 11:00 a.m. alongside The Miz. On Saturday, May 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., James will be appearing at the Best Buy located at 2100 North Elston Avenue, Chicago, Illinois with Montel Vontavious Porter.

Kofi Kingston and Beth Phoenix appeared at Central High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut with Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz this morning to promote the “SmackDown Your Vote!” campaign. Bysiewicz is running for Governor in the state and if she wins the Democratic election in eighteen months, she would oppose Jodi Rell, who recently appointed WWE’s own Linda McMahon to the State Board of Education.
