The Hollywood Reporter has a story up on a Canadian company called Cookie Jar Entertainment putting together an English version of AAA Lucha Libre. Cookie Jar will be handling the program distribution for AAA and will head up merchandise.

The Sun UK has some comments up from Jerry Lawler regarding rumors that he will run for Mayor of Memphis in the upcoming special election. “I am going to do some media interviews and see what level of support is out there before I officially declare,” Lawler said, adding that he will make an announcement either way by the end of this week. As mentioned before, Lawler ran for Mayor of Memphis in 1999 and got 12% of the vote, losing to Mayor Willie Herenton.
