— I am still extremely sick so WZR Radio is going to have to be put on hold once again. I had hoped I would wake up today and would be better but unfortunately it’s much worse. I’ve completely lost my voice. This is wicked.

— The USA Network issued a press release today announcing that it had the best weekly TV ratings ever in the channel’s history last week. USA averaged 4.1 million viewers in prime time during the week, including the season premieres or finales of Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Monk, and PSYCH. 7.6 million viewers tuned in for the season finale of “Burn Notice,” which was their most viewed show in USA Network history.

— On Tuesday’s ECW on Syfy show, William Regal was named the new number one contender for Christian’s ECW Championship.

— Brian Kendrick will wrestle his first match since being released by WWE for west coast independent promotion Pro Wrestling Guerilla. Kendrick will wrestle “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson on 8/28 at PWG’s “Speed of Sound” at the Legion Post 308 in Reseda, California.
