As seen last night on iMPACT!, a brief vignette aired saying “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero will debut on August 16th, which is the date of the Hard Justice pay-per-view. Elijah Burke posted a tongue-in-cheek note on his Twitter account in response to the video. “I wonder who in the Black Pope that could be,” Burke wrote. “My team of highly paid lawyers are looking into this ASAP. PHS: Pope has spoken.”
Jeremy Borash said on his Twitter account yesterday that Ayako Hamada will be starting in TNA after the Hard Justice pay-per-view. “Expect the Knockouts Division to get more physical with the arrival of “Hamada” from Japan. She will be starting after the Hard Justice PPV,” Borash wrote. “Watched a DVD of her matches against Kong in Japan. They were so physically brutal, I needed to be stretchered out of my own living room.”
