Major Backstage RAW News: Big **SPOILER**?, Mayweather Update

There was talk going around last night at SummerSlam that LeBron James would be hosting Raw next week from Cleveland. We can’t confirm that yet but I’m guessing they’ve been in talks with his management today.

Tito Ortiz was sitting next to Freddy Prinze Jr. at the show but they decided not a acknowledge him on the air.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s management team sent out releases today saying he would be on RAW tonight. Mayweather said, “Watch me tonight as host of WWE Monday Night Raw as you know it’s going to be live and full of surprises, Mayweather style. I have a great relationship with the WWE, it’s great fun being part of their shows and it’s just another part of the Mayweather experience you won’t want to miss.”

There are numerous RAW stars booked for tomorrows SD! taping. There may be an angle tonight on RAW to cross-promote this weeks SD! show. They announced C.M. Punk vs. Jeff Hardy in a cage match which would be Jeff’s last match for a while. Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Mysterio & Khali is also booked for the show.
