— UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been cast in the A-Team movie based on the popular 1970s television show. Rampage will play will play the role of B.A. Baracus, made famous by WrestleMania 1 main eventer Mr. T. The film begins shooting next year.
— On Wednesday afternoon at Fedor Emelianenko’s public workout session in New York City, Strikeforce CEO and founder Scott Coker announced that Fedor’s (30-1) first opponent under the Strikeforce banner will be undefeated heavyweight contender Brett Rogers (10-0). No date or venue has been announced for the fight, but its been discussed that Fedor’s first fight would take place in October or Nevember.
