Jeff Hardy is expected to appear at the SD! tapings on Tuesday and that’ll be it for him. They obviously had to get the title off him which is why CM Punk won the TLC match that ended SummerSlam. They also set up the ‘Taker/Punk feud that we have been telling you about here on the website.
As noted just moments ago here on the website, ROH sent out the following statement stating that Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with WWE. Danielson has been one of ROH’s top stars since 2002 and is considered one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. WWE had Danielson under a developmental contract years ago but eventually released him. ROH On HDNet moving to Mondays has caused WWE to look at them a bit more seriously and has apparently caused WWE to look at the contract status of several of ROH’s top names. I’m told WWE is interested in four or five names.
This is just my opinion but the Mysterio/Ziggler, D-X vs. The Legacy, and the TLC match tore the house down at SummerSlam.
Lilian Garcia made a HUGE mistake when she announced “The winner and new WWE champion Randy Orton” after the first fall in the Orton/Cena match. She then said that Cena won by DQ but Orton kept the title. A ‘fan’ also ran in torwards the end of this match.
