» While WWE has not run any “Pretty Ricky” vignettes as of late (a vignette was scratched from the script two weeks ago), the idea is not dead. Unfortunately for Ron Killings, no one in creative is really backing him despite his charisma. His age (37) may be working against him as the company is going on something of a youth movement. However, it has been noted that Vince McMahon loves his “Pretty Ricky” character.
» Although nothing has been confirmed, some names discussed for next year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony includes The Ultimate Warrior, Ted DiBiase Sr. and The Honky Tonk Man. Nothing has been green lighted by Vince McMahon yet and these names are simply in the early stages. The belief is that Warrior could be a long shot unless his lawsuit against WWE is settled.
» In something that had been rumored last week, former WWE star JBL has officially pulled out of Ohio Valley Wrestling and Viper Fight League as an official sponsor. Although some thought this might have been done with some WWE influence after Bruce Prichard showed up at a Viper event recently, the belief is that JBL pulled out since it wasn’t financially viable anymore. OVW does have TV paid through the next three months, but will be back to the situation they were in earlier before JBL bailed them out.
